Terms and conditions

  1. Product Description

1.1 Differences in colour, petal count, season, temperature, and placement in your home can all play a role in the vase life of your flowers. Although we try our best to select varieties of roses with the best all-round characteristics, we cannot guarantee the exact number of days each rose will survive.

1.2 Where you display your flower box or arrangement will have an impact on their lifespan as well. Be sure to avoid direct sunlight, warmer temperatures, smoke, or pollution when possible.

1.3 Typically speaking, fresh roses last between 4-12 days. We advise that you change out the water in vases every second day and add water to flower boxes daily.

  1. Returns policy 

2.1 Unfortunately flowers and plants cannot be returned or exchanged once they have left our premises. If you are dissatisfied with the floral purchase please send pictures to 0817220541 with a written explanation of the problem. Once an investigation into the problem has been finalized, the client will be given a voucher.

2.2 Our return policy lasts 7 days for home goods, décor, and non-perishable items purchased from our website. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2.3 To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

2.4 Unfortunately Sale items may not be refunded or returned.

  1. Exchanges 

3.1 We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. This excludes fresh flowers and other perishable items such as food.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, kindly return it to our store at Unit 4, 40 Eros Road. Eros

  1. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Deliveries within the city of Windhoek are N$60.00. Deliveries to Elisenheim and Finkenstein are N$120, whilst delivery to Omeya is N$200.

4.2 Deliveries outside of Windhoek will be couriered with the best available courier service at the time, via overnight express. Courier is an additional N$120 and is done at own risk.

4.3 Whilst Karibu Flowers will take all necessary steps to package orders appropriately for courier, we shall not be held liable for any damage to the product or the delay in its delivery. Such risk can be mitigated by taking out insurance with the courier and is done at own risk.

4.4 Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

4.5 Same day deliveries must be placed before 13h00 that day.

4.6 We have two delivery time slots; morning deliveries which start at 10h00 and afternoon deliveries which start at 14h00 during weekdays. On Saturdays, orders are delivered from 11h30.

4.7 Morning deliveries must be placed a day before or before 09h00 that day. all orders placed thereafter will be delivered during the afternoon delivery slot. On Saturdays, all orders must be placed before 11h00.

5. Terms of payment 

5.1 Payment shall be made free of deduction, set-off, bank charges, and/or commissions unless so agreed in writing by Karibu Flowers.

5.2 Direct deposits or transfers should be made into Karibu Flowers bank account or any such account as may be notified by the Company in writing from time to time.

5.3 The Company shall be entitled to suspend delivery of any goods and materials, as well as suspend the delivery of any service for as long as the customer owes any money to Karibu Flowers. Should costs have increased during the time of suspension, the customer shall be liable for any increased costs that arose during the period of suspension of delivery of goods, materials, and/or services on the resumption of delivery or performance.

6. Delays in deliveries

6.1 Deliveries are dispatched from Eros.

6.2 Kindly notify our office in writing if you need your order to be delivered at a specific time, otherwise the Driver will use his discretion and deliver to the locations closest to him from the dispatch point in Eros.

6.3 When deliveries have been delayed, we will advise the client telephonically.

6.4 Karibu Flowers shall not he held liable for any delays resulting from circumstances beyond its control or a vis major.
